BEHOLD AN excellent video noting how the Democrat Party has morphed from the Party of the Working Man to the party that obsesses on Political Correctness, race, open borders, diversity and socialism, all to the detriment of the American Working Man.

Do not know how you can argue with this, but I am sure the left will find a way.

It seems to me that the Democrats are making a mistake. Bringing millions of Catholic voters into the system will run counter to their deal with the Devil on the abortion issue. Those Protestant congregations that proselytize in Central and South America take an even dimmer view of abortion. Let’s see how this works out in ten or fifteen years.

Señor Gill: The Democrats are making lots and lots of errors, not just for themselves but for the nation. Sad.

Kind of tagging onto Robert’s comment, I’ve been thinking lately that Latinos are sort of a natural fit for the Republicans. Aside from the immigration issue, they are extremely focused on church and family, values that fit squarely into the Republican camp. Seems like the R’s just need a better way to transmit the message. Done well, I’d think shifting Latinos to the Republican camp en masse should be an achievable goal.

Kim: Those “traditional values” you correctly cite for Latinos also exist in the black community, at least a large segment. The GOP needs to convince them too, and it’s happening, slowly by sure, thanks to people like Candace Owens.

It looks like we are in for some more waves of immigrants. https://www.elimparcial.com/mundo/Mas-de-700-hondurenos-atraviesan-la-frontera-de-Guatemala-20200118-0078.html

Señor Gill: Our president down here said recently he was not going to allow them to traipse up the country like before. Let us hope he’s a man of his word at least on this issue. I think The Donald knocked a little sense into his head.

Well, The Donald has completed 100 miles of wall despite pushback at every turn from Democrats.
I used to be able to watch Tucker Carlson Tonight but now it’s not available in Canada unless I pay for a subscription. So I watch Mark Dice,

Mark Steyn and Dan Bongino. It’s great that there are so many independent journalists/bloggers who are essentially saying the same thing. Google is making it harder to find them as they’ve tweaked their algorithms to bury search results. DuckDuckGo and Bing aren’t much better, but I use them whenever possible.

Brent: Tucker is one sharp fellow, always a delight to listen to him. I find Mark Dice a bit annoying in spite of agreeing with what he says. It’s like that InfoWars guy. Jeez, listening to him is like fingernails on a blackboard even though I mostly agree with him too. Mark Steyn is great. And I’ve never paid much attention to Bongino.
One should never use Google search. It just encourages them. DuckDuckGo is better on general principles.

Thanks for fixing the links. I’ll try to remember that next time. I know what you mean about finding Dice and AJ annoying sometimes. They’re a bit cartoonish but are on the mark most of the time. It must get exasperating trying to enlighten the public, many of whom don’t want to be enlightened. I just found out Mark Steyn hosts a yearly cruise. While I’m not a cruise guy that one looks like it would be fun.

Brent, P.S.: Yes, a good bit of border wall has been added on Trump’s watch, not enough, but it’s happening. The media ignore it, of course.

Brent: There are various YouTube channels that post Tucker’s show very shortly after it airs. You should be able to watch him there. I don’t watch TV, but I see Tucker on YouTube. Cheers, Kim

Thanks Kim. I’ll try again. I found a lot of links to YouTube that said they were ~40 minutes long had been shortened to 2 seconds. Copywrite infringement.
