Fun campaign contrasts

Bigwigs of the Democrat Socialist Party predict an election sweep in November! And Kamala Harris, who did lousy in the primaries, lets slip a reference to the upcoming Harris Administration! Oops, she meant to say Biden Administration.

Meanwhile, I enjoy watching Trump rallies around the nation. Here’s a brief video of one in California this week. How did that black dude get in there? He must have taken a wrong turn while heading to some “inclusive” Biden rally nearby.

But look at all the other blacks at the rally. How is that possible? My head is spinning. Someone must be paying them to be there. Sure, that’s it.

The blonde is the wonderful Limey Katie Hopkins who’s traveling around the United States enjoying the Trump fervor. If you do a search on YouTube for Trump rallies, you’ll find lots. Some are official rallies in which Trump is speaking to huge, enthusiastic crowds. Other rallies are unofficial ones, organized by Trump supporters.

The rally above is one of those. Good-humored people having a great time.

If you do a YouTube search for Biden rallies, you will find one that has taken place since the primaries. Just the one. Here it is.

The audience is never shown. When there is applause, it sounds like maybe 12 people

Meanwhile, Tuesday night, Trump participated in a “Town Hall” on ABC, a hostile network, hosted by George Stephanopoulos, a hostile moderator. It lasted 90 minutes. ABC offered the same opportunity to Sleepy Joe, but his handlers “couldn’t find an open date.”

You read that right. Joe’s handlers turned down the opportunity for 90 minutes of prime time, free, nationwide TV exposure on a sympathetic network.

Insert laugh track here.

Meanwhile, the Blond Bomber has been nominated for two Nobel Peace Prizes, prompting The Atlantic magazine to suggest that Nobel Prizes should be eliminated.* The Atlantic was in the news recently for saying that Trump insulted dead war veterans, an absurd claim that was quickly and soundly debunked.

* I agree with this due to Obama’s laughably winning the Peace Prize for doing absolutely nothing and Bob Dylan’s hilariously winning the Literature Prize. I guess the science prizes still mean something, however.

    1. Señor Gill: The only way Sniffy Joe will win is if they steal it.

There are a number of reasons not to buy a Ford. There is just one reason not to buy a Honda, however. They paid the obligatory sum to BLM, as did scores of other wussy corporations. Sad.

  1. There are a lot of Trump rallies around the U.S., not very popular on the Democrats’ news corporations. Went to Arizona in February for two weeks, travelling with friends in travel trailers. Lots of Trump flags and lots of places to buy them. Didn’t see one Democratic flag flying. The Dems are trying to find ways to win, just the leftist coasts can’t do it.

  2. That must have been a UAW-sponsored event. Besides Ford, there was a Ram, and the white car was electric of unknown make. At least unknown to me. The teleprompters were very obvious.

    1. Phil: Unions still think — well, most of them — they must toe the Democrat line. But it’s not so set in stone as it once was. For instance, lots of police unions are jumping to Trump. As for Biden, he has gone noticeably downhill in the cognitive area in just the past few months. I wonder if he’ll be blabbering completely incoherently and drooling down his chin by Nov. 3. That would really set the DNC on the horns of a dilemma.

  3. We had a Trump/Pence sign abuser in a couple of adjacent high-end neighborhoods recently. Caught on several surveillance cameras and published. The perp is female mask-hat-shades-dress wearing spray-paint-can-bearing sort who did an early morning sweep. Retaliation by homeowners is huge Trump flags attached to the fronts of homes.

    1. Carole: There are few things that capture the essence of (most) people who still vote for Democrats than the absolute hatred of contrary opinions. Sounds like your neighborhood responded well. Kudos to them all.

  4. Hola Felipe. We’re back from four months at the cabin in blissful ignorance of COVID, Trump, etc. Back just in time for the silly season leading up to the election. I think Trump is going to win in a landslide. Biden can hardly string two sentences together without making gaffes, and Harris should scare the heck out of any rational person. Unfortunately, there seem to be a lot of clinically insane people in the USA right now. But I believe the silent majority will vote for Trump. The loud activist radicals won’t even bother to vote.

It’s good to be back in the big smoke … and I mean wood smoke coming from out-of-control forest fires in California, Oregon and Washington State. Some say a lot of them were deliberately set but, of course, the MSM blames it on climate change. Cheers.

    1. Brent; Welcome back to what passes for civilization these days. Your wit and wisdom have been sorely missed.

Yes, I think Trump will win big-time if the Democrats don’t succeed in torpedoing the vote, which is definitely their intention.

And yes, I also have read that those fires — not all but some — have been intentionally set, just another example of the Democrats trying to make things awful in the hope it will rub off negatively on Trump. It won’t. Cheers back at you!

    2. Brent: Didn’t you know? Climate change drives people to arson. I have it on the authority of Gavin Newsom, who insists that the fires are due to climate change. And of course, plenty of folks have been arrested for arson. So it just follows logically.

  5. I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to go to such a Trump rally. Looks like loads of fun amongst non-judgmental people. While watching the Katie Hopkins video, it occurred to me that being a Trump supporter in a blue state is a bit like being gay in the 1980s. You have to be very careful about who you tell, and even if you are careful, you might get beaten up by members of the “party of tolerance.”

    1. Kim: Yep, looks like a darn fun get-together. I’d love to be there too. Strangely, we don’t seem to be having any Trump rallies here in Mexico at all. Not even one. Why, I don’t think it would even be prudent to wear my MAGA cap outside due to most Mexicans believing the media’s baloney that Trump hates them, which he doesn’t.

Back in the closet again? I like that one. There are all kinds of closets now.

  6. So, this morning I was watching Scott Adams, and he discussed the question what happens if we do not have result on the election by the time for the current president to leave office?

If the electoral college cannot come up with a result, it seems the issue is sent to the legislature. The Senate will choose for the president, and the House will choose for the vice president.

Trump will be chosen by the Senate, for sure. But the House will choose Kamala for the vice president. His life will not be worth a plugged nickel then. That woman if purely vicious.

I seem to recall that a similar situation prevailed for Abraham Lincoln. He ended up with a Democrat vice president Johnson. They then attempted to impeach Johnson, but it didn’t carry. Think through this. Did I hear it correctly?

    1. Señor Gill: That’s not how I understand the process. It will go to the Supreme Court. Also, back in the time of Lincoln it was easy to have the president and vice president from different parties. The process was different in those days. Ain’t gonna happen these days, and shouldn’t.
