Trump got canceled

We’re all familiar, or should be, with the ugly phenomenon of Cancel Culture. It was hatched years ago by the Democrat Socialist Party — formerly known simply as the Democrat Party — to have people who voice blasphemous opinions “canceled” in some way. Usually, this means you get fired from your job.

You might get canceled in other ways too. Social ostracism is popular. In some situations, you can have the bejezus beaten out of you. Antifa, the Black Shirt arm of the Democrat Socialist Party, is enamored of that approach.

Cancel Culture has been very successful in gagging conservatives, most of whom were not particularly courageous in the first place. Now, even less. Cancel Culture, by other names, was popular in Stalin’s Soviet Union and in Mao’s Communist China, and it remains popular in Communist Cuba today. I have visited Cuba. It’s a nasty place.

The Democrat Socialists have been trying to cancel President Trump since he won the presidency, even before he was sworn in. Every attempt failed as Trump always responded with raspberries and the extended finger, figuratively speaking, of course.

They called him a bully for this. Him. Yeah, sure. He’s the bully.

Trump is no coward, fights back, and that drove the Democrat Socialists into wild fits of rage because they are accustomed to winning, and winning with ease. The Russian collusion hoax failed. The impeachment (for what exactly?) failed. They just could not knock him over, and these people are accustomed to success.

Then came the election, their last hope. They rigged it.

And they landed him at last. Their biggest fish.

Face of fanaticism*

Behold the stony mug of Sarah Iannarone who will face the current mayor of Portland, Oregon, in a runoff election on November 3. She is a fanatic, a supporter of the terrorist organization known as Antifa.

Give us a smile, honeybun! No?

For years, I’ve observed the United States circle the drain hole. The primary problem is that it’s a nation full of spoiled people who’ve never faced an existential threat.** With some exceptions, Americans, especially on the coasts, are self-absorbed and ignorant.

There are many upshots of this. The open-borders mindset because “all cultures are of equal value.” The embrace of diversity, which I’ve been telling you for years is a recipe for murder and mayhem. Have you listened? Sadly not.

And now you have anti-American Mohammedans walking the hallowed halls of Congress and terrorist groups handing up popular candidates for various political offices.

And plenty of nincompoops are voting for them.

Iannarone’s platform includes “housing for all,” defunding the cops, and Lord knows how many other “free” things. Iannarone says she’s an Antifan because “the Red Hats are coming after brown & black people, after Jews, after queer & trans people, and more.”

Someone forgot to tell her about Jews, that Israel is an oppressor nation.***

Vote for Trump in November even though a second term will only be jamming another ball of orange hair into that drain hole through which the nation is spinning. People like Iannarone and her ignorant ilk have plenty of Drano in their cupboards.

It’s a great time to live in Mexico.

Understanding Democrats

In the next block, there’s a little grocery store, what we call abarrotes in Spanish. With few exceptions, they are very small, and they are all over the place. Some might say they are ubiquitous, but I just say they’re all over the place.

We patronize that store often. There’s another, perhaps 20 feet closer and just around the corner, that we long patronized, but the owner is such a distrustful sourpuss, we gave up on her years back. May she go bankrupt. Her husband is quite nice, however.

The store we now use has a fair stock, far better than a year or so ago when it was so poorly stocked that it was mostly useless. The owner has a daughter with severe Down’s Syndrome, and the owner is also the mother of the wife of the couple who own the house directly next to the Hacienda, a sour pair also. If someone tells you how friendly Mexicans are, come to my block for a dose of reality.

Lots of Mexicans are friendly, of course, but not as friendly as your typical resident of small-town Georgia or Mississippi or Alabama. Not even close.

Lots of Mexicans are friendly, but not as friendly as your average rural Georgia Cracker.

Our abarrotes sells us tomatoes, avocados, eggs and tostadas more than anything, but those are staples, so we go down there almost every day.

What has this to do with “understanding Democrats,” which is what the headline says? Nothing. I just thought I’d provide a little local color first. You’d like my abarrotes. No one wears masks in there. It’s like the olden days.

A year or two ago I opened a Facebook page for a while. I come and go on Facebook. I should go permanently, as should we all. At that time, I opened the Facebook account to see what my former Houston newspaper colleagues were up to. There are lots of them, and every one, 100 percent, were swimming in the Sea of Trump Hate.

A couple of old amigos who worked in the composing room downstairs exhibited good sense, but the newsroom types were all dizzy with Trump Loathing. This perplexes me. You’d expect some to dislike him, but 100 percent? And why not me? That’s the even larger question especially since I was a lifelong Democrat until 12 years ago.

Perhaps I’m just smarter than they are. Or maybe it’s because I live outside the United States. International living tends to make one less myopic.

It’s clear to me that Trump is doing an excellent job in the face of the rabid opposition he sees every day. His list of accomplishments are long and excellent. Of course, you must know where to get accurate information because most news media do not provide it.

They lie, slant and omit. CNN “fact-checked” the speakers at the Republican convention. It did not “fact-check” speakers at the Democrat convention. Could the bias be more bald-faced and arrogant?

This morning, I glanced at the Facebook page of a close, former coworker. She snarkily mentioned Trump’s “militias.” Of course, he has no militias. She was referring to Trump’s having legally and sensibly sent federal officers to protect a federal building in one of those Democrat cities where Antifa and Black Lives Matters tried to destroy it, and where the Democrat city administration looked the other way on purpose.

The Democrats’ four-year insurrection will worsen after the election.

Interesting how people can look at the same situation and come away with polar opposite impressions. I wonder what my former coworker thinks of President Eisenhower’s sending in the 101st Airborne to help black kids enter a desegregated school in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1957? The desegregation was opposed, of course, by Arkansas Gov. Orville Faubus.

Like Abe Lincoln, Eisenhower was a Republican, and Faubus was a Democrat. No surprise.

The U.S. Army is better than a militia. Perhaps Trump will have to send in the troops, just like President Eisenhower did, after he wins the November election.

To New York, Seattle, Portland, Chicago and their disruptive ilk.

I doubt Democrats will settle down and accept democracy after Trump’s re-election. Their apoplectic, four-year insurrection will just worsen.

Irredeemably stupid?

Those who are working overtime to delegitimize white Americans have coined a term that they use as a weapon — “white privilege.”

The propaganda is that being white is a racial privilege that elevates white Americans above other Americans and enables white people to oppress blacks. It doesn’t strike those who use the term as a weapon that these same “racist white people” are the ones who elected Obama president and put Kamala Harris in the Senate.

“White privilege” conveys the idea that white people have impunity. They can abuse, even kill, people of color without consequence. Yet, it is white officer Chauvin who is in jail charged with the murder of black George Floyd, while the two black Maryland teenagers who murdered 59-year-old white John Weed at the county fair for not giving them a dollar were sentenced by white female judge Julie Stevenson Solt to “anger management training” and “behavior modification” but otherwise unpunished.  Here is the report.

The story was covered locally.

But it was kept out of national news while white Americans were pumped full of guilt for their “racism.”

The story is more than the lack of justice for John Weed and his family. Unlike George Floyd’s relatives who benefited from millions of dollars in donations from white people, money did not pour into the coffers of John Weed’s relatives. Unlike George Floyd’s death, John Weed’s did not become a national sensation.

White supremacists did not riot, loot, and burn their way through black neighborhoods. You were never even told about John Weed’s brutal murder and the pass that white justice gave to the two black thugs who murdered him, spit on his body, and danced around it in glee. So much for “white privilege.”

The outcome of the November election will tell us if Americans are irredeemably stupid.

But judge Julie Solt did much more than deny justice to John Weed and his family. She denied justice in the abstract. Sentencing a murderer to anger management conveys that blacks have impunity from punishment for injurious consequences of their actions.

Obviously,  privilege lies with black Americans. They benefit from racial quotas in employment, promotion, and university admission. There are crimes that only whites can commit and only blacks can suffer. That black teenagers have no qualm about assaulting and beating to death a white man in public at a county fair is proof that blacks are aware of their impunity.

The response to rioting and looting by the mayors of Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, New York, Chicago and other cities have reinforced the belief of blacks that the racism of white people gives them impunity from their illegal actions. The kneeling of elected public officials before Antifa and Black Lives Matter, the imposition of stand-down orders to police, the absence of property protection against looting and destruction, the release without charges of looters, the public apologies made to the criminals by public officials, all of this clearly conveys to blacks the impression that they have impunity.

The impression of impunity that white liberals have given to blacks has obvious implications for public safety and law and order.  This is what you get.

The vicious propaganda in the United States against white people is as bad if not worse than the Nazi propaganda against Jews, and it will have the same result. Indeed, it already has. What is the difference between kristallnacht and the looting and burning of white businesses?

Theaters, concert halls, and museums in downtown areas of America’s racially diverse cities have an uncertain future. People who live and work in downtown areas and use public transportation will find life increasingly risky. Indeed, cities could collapse as apparently is happening in New York.

What is the difference between kristallnacht and the looting and burning of white businesses?

The propaganda against white Americans never lets up. We have the anti-white propaganda film, “The Long Shadow,” which defines “social justice” as prevailing over white people. This summer PBS has broadcast this indoctrination film in 50 cities, and a second wave is on its way. It is the kind of film that softens up white people to accept widespread looting and burning as  justified “peaceful protest” over George Floyd’s death, a death that they were never told occurred from Floyd’s overdosing on fentanyl, a dangerous opioid.

The demonization of white people in the United States has reached the point that the media, the universities, and the Democrat Party are anti-white. The Democrats have selected an anti-white “woman of color,” Kamala Harris, as their candidate for vice president. Harris has even called her running mate, Joe Biden, a racist, although she is now backing away from this accusation, accusing him only of being friends with racists in Congress.

If Democrats win, the likelihood of visibly impaired Joe Biden serving four years is slight. He will be succeeded by Harris, and many suspect that is the plan. Biden’s only function is to serve as the way to put an anti-white female of color into the presidency. What comes next? Gun confiscation and defunded police? An open season on white Americans? You might scoff, but this is already the case in sections of some cities.

A racially diverse political entity cannot exist in peace with equal rights and protection of law if one race is taught to hate another, or races are taught to hate one other. In the United States for many years blacks have been taught to hate whites. Blacks and whites are taught that being white is a privilege that prevents social justice. This privilege allegedly comes from whites as slave owners who have continued their dominance over blacks.

In the consciousness that has been created for blacks, whites were the only slave owners and blacks the only slaves. As the syllogism goes, slavery is racism. Therefore, white Americans are racists. This is the lesson in school and university classrooms, and it is the message of The New York Times 1619 Project.

This is not a formula for the success of our racially diverse society. Yet it is the formula that white liberals, white progressives and white leftists have created and institutionalized.

Donald Trump is especially hated, because he was elected by the “racist white working class,” the “Trump Deplorables.” All propaganda organs are allied against Trump. If white Americans cannot see through the propaganda and put Democrats in control, they will have cut their own throats. The outcome of the November election will tell us if Americans are irredeemably stupid.
