My favorite lesbian

YOU WON’T FIND many lesbian atheists like Camille Paglia. Likely, she is the one and only. I’ve been a fan for decades.

Unlike most all lesbian atheists these days, she scorns political correctness. Most embrace it with a vengeance. Here she provides a great take-down of contemporary feminism. Not the original version of decades past — equal pay for equal work, etc. — but the new, man-hating, storm-trooper version.

I continue to cringe at what’s going on above the Rio Bravo, censorship has markedly escalated in recent months after the de-personing of the buffoon Alex Jones by most internet entities because they disagree with his opinions.

No banking for you!

A relatively new censorship tactic by the American Bolsheviks (Democrat Party) that has received far less attention than it deserves comes from payment processors who are deleting conservative accounts. You can no longer contribute to Jones’ InfoWars via PayPal.

The Twitter alternative that is devoted to free speech, Gab.ai, has been threatened with the same action by its two payment processors, PayPal and Stripe.

This is akin to getting a letter from your bank that tells you it’s closing your checking account because your opinions differ from the bank’s.

Don’t think this is trivial. The Bolsheviks have moved their battle beyond social media. They’re coming after your wallets. You may be next.

Immigration & social media

SOCIAL MEDIA can be fun and informative. I’m a fan.

Until recently,  about the only forms in which I participated were Facebook and Twitter, the most popular of them all, of course. I’ve had Facebook accounts under both my real name and my nom de internet, the one I use here.

I never participated much in either of them. I was mostly a lurker, especially with Twitter where I also have had accounts under both names, though not at the same time. Both Facebook and Twitter can be good news sources.

What The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Barefoot Bottom Gazette, The Bourbon News-Mirror (Indiana), etc., were to older people, Twitter and Facebook increasingly are to younger people (and increasingly to older people too).

That is why it matters that a cabal of social media organizations earlier this month collectively decided to bump off the buffoonish Alex Jones of Infowars. And they did. They rubbed him out. Why? “Hate speech.” In this case, it means they hated to hear what he was saying.

While everyone with an IQ over 85 has long known that social media are run by leftists, this month’s move against Jones goes way over the line.

The influence and reach of the dons of Silicon Valley are immense. That they are moving even further to silence contrary opinions is very serious.

Facebook and Twitter are evil, and one should not support evil. If you have an account with either, you are assisting them, not only with their Bolshevik politics but with their stupendous amassing of wealth.

Yes, I know you’ve had that Facebook account for years. I know you communicate daily with your friends and relatives there. I know you exchange gardening advice, post photos of your pooches, your children and grandchildren, and you chuckle at videos of fun things. The cats, the mice.

No matter. You’re in bed with the devil, and you should toss back the blankets, stand up and walk out the door. It won’t be easy, but you can do it.

Don’t be a Jew who dines at the Gestapo cafeteria.

There’s a very good Facebook alternative called MeWe.* It started in 2015 and bills itself as the Next-Gen Social Network. It’s quite similar to Facebook but easier to use. It does not track you. It does not censor you.

Dragging your gardening buds, your kids and grandkids over there will be a challenge. But you know I am right.

Immigration is perhaps the biggest issue facing the United States these days. Leftists claim the U.S. system is unfair and cruel. Quite the contrary is true.

Watch the  above video by Michelle Malkin, an attractive and intelligent woman who, no matter how old she gets, always looks like she’s 19.

* Another Facebook alternative that’s committed to free speech is Minds. I also opened an account there, but I don’t find it as appealing as MeWe.

Twitter should be dumped too. Its free-speech alternative, growing by leaps and bounds, is Gab.ai although Gab can be a bit like the Wild West, which is what free speech can lead to. No matter. Free speech matters.

A Wednesday rundown

AT 8:30 A.M., I was parked in my post-pajama attire outside a tire outlet on the ring road with the intention of buying four new tires.

I arrived just moments before the joint opened and purchased Goodyears. My previous tires lasted the kilometer equivalent of about 30,000 miles and 2.5 years. I would have preferred more of both those measures. This new set cost the peso equivalent of about $367 U.S.

Having no point of comparison, I don’t know if that’s good or bad.

The new tires mean one thing:  I will be keeping the 2009 Honda indefinitely, not switching it for a new Kia Soul, which I’d been thinking of doing.

The Honda runs fine, so …

Perhaps you know that a cabal of social media providers simultaneously threw Alex Jones, the Infowars fellow, into oblivion this week for no reason other than they do not like what comes from his mouth.

This is a very bad thing.

Jones is an objectionable fellow, I’ll grant, but the left-wingers crushed him because they disagree with his opinions. I heard something interesting this morning. It’s that virtually all of the world’s social media comes from within 300 miles of San Francisco.

Chew on that.

Some are calling Jones the canary in the mine.

Though Trump sits in the Oval Office, the Bolsheviks still control most of the important sectors of society in the Western World.

It’s a good time to be old and approaching death.

It’s a lovely, cool August day here. After picking up the Honda at 10 a.m. and smooth-riding back to the Hacienda on new rubber, we ate cereal. My child bride cooked pinto beans for lunch this afternoon. We always have roasted chicken and beans on Wednesday.

I showered and dressed, did some plant trimming in the yard, swept the veranda, and now I’m going to the Jesus Patio and put my feet up.

The news from yesterday was that I had a gold crown fall off one of my back molars. A few hours later I walked into a dental office on Romero Street, and a pretty young dentist reconnected it lickety-split for about $15 U.S.

A quiet moment under the portales

PORTAL
Not a woman in sight.

BEFORE MOVING south, I used to listen to Dr. Laura on the radio in Houston, Texas. I found her very astute and no-nonsense. There’s always lots of nonsense going around, lots more now up there than when I lived in the United States.

Once she pointed out that it’s women who cause trouble in families, and men who cause trouble between nations. This is very true. Why is that?

What’s left of my family above the Rio Bravo consists of just two people, and both of them are women, a sister and a daughter.

My sister is impossible to relate to due to being a political fanatic of the feminist, lesbian, Bolshevik, anti-man variety. I admit some lesbians are nice people but, sadly, my sister is not one of them. She is so explosive that both our parents were afraid of her. They have since died, but I don’t think she had anything to do with that.

My daughter was just 5 years old when her mother and I parted. This, not to put too fine a point on it, is not a good thing for a 5-year-old. Making the situation worse, her mother and a new beau took off for Canada, hiding from the law, when my daughter was 8, not returning till she was 11.

Things have never been the same.

My daughter will be 52 next month. I  have not seen her in over 16 years. I’ve invited her and her husband to visit, but it never happens. My daughter is a woman. Her mother, who has influenced her greatly, is a woman too.

Dr. Laura was perceptive. I look around at my Mexican family now, and I see lots of conflict. It’s invariably the women who cause it. The guys just mind their own business.

I was thinking about this just before I snapped the photo above a couple of days ago. I was having a nice café Americano negro. I usually watch beautiful women walk by, but none were in sight. Maybe that’s why I thought about this issue with women causing family problems. I’m glad I’m a guy, but I cause no problems between nations or anywhere else.
