Smart, brave woman

It’s always refreshing to listen to Candace Owens. And what’s going on in America puts a smile on my face that I was smart enough to flee the nation all these years ago. A sad smile but a smile nonetheless.

Here Candace addresses the issue of glorifying the thug George Floyd and, more recently, the case of Ma’Kiyah Bryant,* the knife-wielding teenager who was shot dead by police a few days ago in Columbus, Ohio.

I addressed the glorification of George Floyd last year in a post titled End to a Thug Life.

* The spelling of her first name varies, depending on the news source. Would have been better to simply name her Carole or Jane or Maryanne. She might still be alive today.

First film recommendation

I’VE NEVER recommended a movie here before, but today I will.

3I9A0595JoeShalmoniPhotoC2014-1It’s titled Uncle Tom, and it’s a work by black conservative Larry Elder, one of the smartest men you’ll ever encounter, and others. Here’s how the filmmakers describe the movie:

In a collection of intimate interviews with some of America’s most provocative black conservative thinkers, Uncle Tom takes a different look at being black in America. Featuring media personalities, ministers, civil rights activist, veterans, and a self-employed plumber, the film explores their personal journeys of navigating the world as one of America’s most misunderstood political and cultural groups: The American Black Conservative.

In this eye-opening film from Director Justin Malone and Executive Producer Larry Elder, Uncle Tom examines self-empowerment, individualism and rejecting the victim narrative. Uncle Tom shows us a different perspective of American History from this often ignored and ridiculed group.

It’s an online movie that lasts 145 minutes. Here’s a brief preview. It costs about $20, but with the discount code Brandon, it’s just $16.

It’s a refreshing look at a growing element in the black community and a great antidote to clips of race-hucksters like Al Sharpton and looters of Targets and Walmarts.

Katie the truth-teller

AS RIOTERS CONTINUE nightly nincompoopery above the border, and famous people and big businesses pile on as virtue-signalers, here’s a brief video of the lovely, sharp Katie Hopkins with a little logic for you. True, it’s not so interesting — or as long — as my previous video, the one featuring the incredible Candace Owens, but it’s worth your while.

Katie mentions the term BAME. I had never heard it, and perhaps you haven’t either. A little internet sleuthing* uncovered its meaning. Appears to be more of a Brit thing.

Katie is a Brit.

And now back to your regular programming. Who’ll be the first to toss a cinderblock through a window in the name of Justice, or kick an old person to the sidewalk or spit in the face of someone who does not vote the way you do? Don’t be shy now.

Here are Black Lives Matter’s goals, straight from their mouths. Read down to the bottom where it states they want to “disrupt the nuclear family” and “free ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking,” and “dismantle cisgender privilege.”

Oh, dear.

* Notice I did not say “Google it.” One should never Google anything due to Google’s nefarious censorship of search results. Not to worry. There are alternatives, and better ones at that. I use DuckDuckGo.

Candace the truth-teller

AMERICAN LEFTISTS, both white and black, are bowing and genuflecting toward the image of the Holy Martyr George Floyd. He was an upstanding citizen — or at least a guy turning his life around — brutally murdered by that white cop because Floyd was black, another instance of “systemic racism” in America and particularly in police forces.

I swear. Blacks just cannot catch a break.

Let us go march in the thousands down the streets and highways. Let us throw bricks into windows and set fires and loot businesses, all for poor George. Make sure to grab a Samsung, not one of those cheap TVs made by Chinamen. Steal something good that has internet capability. It’s all for George, and it’s all Trump’s fault.

Here is one of my favorite women, Candace Owens, doing a wonderful job of putting the George Floyd mess into proper perspective.
