Silly Washington Post

I scan the websites of The Washington Post, The New York Times and their ilk on occasion just to see how ridiculous it has become, and it’s become pretty ridiculous.

The Post has, not surprisingly, endorsed Sleepy Joe. I glanced down the long editorial in which they sing his praises while simultaneously dissing President Trump. According to The Post, Sleepy Joe is “exceptionally well-qualified by character and experience.”

(Pause for tear-inducing hilarity.)

The Post also says Sleepy Joe “would restore decency, honor and competence to America’s government.” Joe is “deeply empathetic.” The corrupt newspaper then mentions the completely debunked claim that President Trump referred to wounded and fallen U.S. soldiers as “losers.” Never happened.

Tip: To pull off a lie, make it at least remotely plausible.

And get this: Sleepy Joe chose as his running mate Round-Heels Harris, the woman who “almost everyone agreed was the most qualified.” You might recall that Harris dropped out of the primaries early on because pretty much no one wanted her.

Tulsi Gabbard ripped her a new one during a debate. Fun to watch.

The Post then — hilarity alert! — claimed Trump has “few accomplishments in his first term and no agenda for his second.” I imagine the editorial writer gets all his news from The Washington Post, not from the wider world.

President Trump has been nominated not once, not twice, but three times so far for the Nobel Peace Prize. Here’s a brief video in which an Australian law professor points to a number of the great works done by the Trump Administration, none of which, I am sure, were reported by the corrupt, mainstream, U.S. media.

Welcome to the right side

Want to have a good time? Watch WalkAway videos on YouTube. Staunch members of the Democrat Socialist Party, formerly known as the Democrat Party, will tell you it’s a fake movement of Russian bots, or something like that, but it’s quite real, formed by Brandon Straka, a gay, New York City hairstylist, two years ago.

Thousands of people are abandoning the Democrat Socialist Party and moving to the GOP. There is no corresponding movement of people going in the other direction. Think of it this way: Cubans paddle toward Key West, but no one paddles toward Havana.

What’s perhaps most interesting about the WalkAway Movement is its diversity. Blacks, Anglos, Latinos, Christians, non-believers, men, women, straights, gays, transsexuals, you name it, which puts the lie to what the Democrat Socialist Party would have you believe, that the GOP is just racist, straight, white rednecks. We are the real rainbow.

The video above is a good example. Meet Ricky Rebel from Hollywood.

If you’ve always voted Democrat, as I did till 2007, know that you can join the multitude that’s quitting the Democrat Socialists, and you can vote in your best interests. Don’t be a sheep. Don’t listen to CNN, NPR or read The New York Times or The Washington Post if you want accurate news.

Hop on the raft to our Key West. You’ll find free speech, a sense of humor, mojitos, black bean soup and empanadas waiting on the dock, nice and warm.

Mess of the Times

MANY PEOPLE still get their “news” from The New York Times even though that “news” is gravely one-sided, slanted and corrupt, which is to say politically correct and Woke. It used to be a great paper, still is in certain areas — recipes, travel, etc. — but for stuff that really matters in these troubled times, you should get informed elsewhere.

This is especially true for politics and culture.

I’ve been singing this tune about The Times corruption for years, so with today’s revelation that a woman named Bari Weiss has resigned as Editorial Page editor and the manner in which she did it, I’ve been handed extra ammo, which is great fun.

Read her resignation letter.

“New McCarthyism” has taken root at the paper of record.

— Bari Weiss.

Now stop citing what you read in the NYT. It paints you as a nincompoop.

Same goes for The Washington Post.

How Goebbels did it

cops
Trump signs executive order Tuesday to improve policing standards.

NO, NOT TRUMP, silly. He’s not Goebbels. He’s the good guy.

The Blond Bomber took steps this week to improve the cops. He signed an excellent executive order, and here are its four main items:

  1. Certification: The Justice Department will now allocate certain funding only to law enforcement agencies that meet high standards for use-of-force and de-escalation, as credentialed by reputable independent bodies. As part of this new credentialing, chokeholds will be banned except if an officer’s life is at risk.
  2. Information sharing: The Attorney General will create a database for federal, state, and local law enforcement to track terminations, criminal convictions, and civil judgments against law enforcement officers for excessive use-of-force.
  3. Mental health: To protect both officers and our most vulnerable populations, the Administration will prioritize training for police and social workers who respond to incidents involving the mentally ill, addicted, and homeless.
  4. Legislative action: The Administration will develop and propose new legislation to Congress to build on these policies and boost community engagement.

I got this straight-forward information from the White House newsletter, which I have often recommended for honest news about the Trump Administration. For dishonest information, look to the mainstream media. Here is how the NYT/DNC and the WP/DNC reported the positive news:

First, the Washington Post piece, an exercise in sneaky journalism. The headline says:

Trump signs order on policing, but Democrats and activists say it falls short of what is needed.

You see what they did there? Were it a story about Republican dogs discovering a cure for cancer, the WP/DNC headline would say:

Dogs announce discovery, but cats say it’s no big deal.

Let’s turn to how The New York Times reported the positive news. It was a little headline halfway down their website, sneakily hidden. Clicking on the headline did not take you to the executive order, which it should. No, it took you to a list of “protest” stories, and when you scrolled down far enough, near the bottom, there was the item at last.

These are two classic examples of the fake news/slanted news you get from the corrupt Gray Old Ladies of Journalism these days. The Goebbels Playbook. It is political propaganda. Get honest reporting elsewhere. I am available for recommendations.

I imagine The Washington Post and The New York Times still provide great coverage in many areas, i.e. food, travel, high society, etc., but regarding politics, culture and related issues, they are now corrupt and wandering in the PC wilderness.

In closing, I leave you with a little humor. Chuckles are good.

(Note: When the Democrats and “activists,” who are one and the same, say Trump’s actions don’t go far enough, they mean he did not address “systemic racism,” a leftist catch phrase that refers to something that doesn’t exist. There is no systemic racism in the United States. There is no “White Privilege” either.)
